2.07.2011 Stratcast Live From The Barton Riverside Revelry Reporter - Wayne Bartlett
Stratcast spent the day at Barton Riverside Revelry, enjoying the glorious sunshine combined with traditional fete antics so that money could be raised for good causes. The lucky charities to benefit from this fun-filled day were Help For Heroes, Air Ambulance, and Acorn's Hospice.
Wayne was the roving reporting providing commentaries on the dog shows, tug o' war, an jazz band amongst others. From cake stalls, tombolas, pork baps, to bars, there were plenty of stalls helping to raise money for charity. The event was well attended and the crowd were well involved with the whole community spirit aspect.
